Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten. That matters more on the Samsung Chromebook Plus than on most machines, because its lid is the widest flat panel you own and the first thing a dropped bag finds.
The front compartment takes a power bank, earbuds and a spare drive — enough that a 12.2-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
