Cut to one machine, not to a size bracket
A sleeve sold as a range fits nothing in the range properly. Ours are cut to a named machine — EliteFlow, Elite and the plain sleeve line — which is why our sleeve line runs long and why the listings name laptops instead of just inches.
Nothing to rattle
No slack inside means nothing moves, and nothing moving means nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid. It also means the sleeve disappears inside a rucksack instead of fighting it for space.
The lining
Brushed, not woven rough. A coarse lining leaves a haze of fine scratches over a year — invisible until the light catches it.
Sleeve or shell?
If the machine travels inside another bag, a sleeve is usually enough and always thinner. If the machine is carried on its own, or shares a rucksack with keys and a bottle, take a hard shell. The protection difference is real and we would rather say so than sell the thinner thing twice.
Sizes we cut
Thirteen, fourteen, fifteen point six, sixteen, seventeen point three and eighteen inch, each in several patterns, because machines at the same diagonal are not the same rectangle.
