Why we cut this one
Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5i Chromebook Plus — that is the machine this one was measured against. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.
The point of cutting this pattern tight to the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5i Chromebook Plus is simple: The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. Nothing moves, so nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid.
The front compartment takes a charger, a short cable and a mouse — enough that a 14-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
The for Lenovo finish is what this listing is in 14 inch — it was measured against Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5i Chromebook Plus.
