Shells for slates and 2-in-1s
A tablet fails differently from a laptop. It does not crush, it bends — and a slate that bends once has a screen with a line through it. These shells are rigid across the whole face rather than only at the rim.
Room for the folio
Most slates travel with a keyboard folio already attached, which adds several millimetres and changes the shape of the corners. Our patterns are cut with the folio on, not off.
Somewhere for the stylus
A moulded channel rather than an elastic loop. A stylus that rolls loose inside a case is a stylus that presses into the glass.
What we cut for
iPad Air and Pro, Surface Pro and the detachable 2-in-1s that share their footprint. Each listing names the generations it was measured against, because a redesign moves the camera bump and the bump is what decides the fit.
