Why we cut this one
We cut this one for Apple iPad Pr/Lenovo ThinkPad. the folio and the stylus go in with the slate — it goes into a bag that already has a laptop in it, and it does not change the shape of that bag.
What we care about is the gap between the Apple iPad Pr and the wall around it. A slate bends before it breaks, so the shell is rigid across the whole face rather than only at the rim. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
