Why we cut this one
We cut this one for Apple ipad pro 2017 A1671 A1821. the folio and the stylus go in with the slate — the A1671 pattern means it goes into a bag that already has a laptop in it, and it does not change the shape of that bag.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the Apple ipad pro the part that pays for a knock is the lid. A slate bends before it breaks, so the shell is rigid across the whole face rather than only at the rim. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
There is a flat pocket for a brick, two cables and a pass. It sits against the outer wall, so adding a charger does not press anything into the lid of the Apple ipad pro.
