Why we cut this one
We build this tablet and 2-in-1 shells around Microsoft Surface Pro 7+/Surface Pro 7. The E431P pattern is ours. the folio and the stylus go in with the slate, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ the part that pays for a knock is the lid. A slate bends before it breaks, so the shell is rigid across the whole face rather than only at the rim. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
There is a flat pocket for a power bank, earbuds and a spare drive. It sits against the outer wall, so adding a charger does not press anything into the lid of the Microsoft Surface Pro 7+.
