Why we cut this one
The E453 pattern is ours. We made this for Apple ipad pro 2017 A1671/2015, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the folio and the stylus go in with the slate.
What we care about is the gap between the Apple ipad pro and the wall around it. A slate bends before it breaks, so the shell is rigid across the whole face rather than only at the rim. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
There is a flat pocket for an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth. It sits against the outer wall, so adding a charger does not press anything into the lid of the Apple ipad pro.
