Why we cut this one
ASUS Vivobook 17 S712/K712/F1704 — that is the machine this one was measured against. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.
We tried the S712 the way the ASUS Vivobook 17 S712 actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year.
Besides the ASUS Vivobook 17 S712 it swallows a slim charger, a cable roll and a key pouch, which is usually the difference between one bag and two.
You are looking at the Elite-Black version in 17.3 inch. It was measured against ASUS Vivobook 17 S712/K712/F1704.
