Why we cut this one
The A514 pattern is ours. We made this for Acer Aspire 5 A514-55-578C, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners.
Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten. That matters more on the Acer Aspire 5 A514-55-578C than on most machines, because its lid is the widest flat panel you own and the first thing a dropped bag finds.
Pack the Acer Aspire 5 A514-55-578C, then a power bank, earbuds and a spare drive, and the x series-black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
The X Series-Black finish is what this listing is in 14 inch — it was measured against Acer Aspire 5 A514-55-578C.
