Why we cut this one
We build this hard EVA shells around ASUS Vivobook 14. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the ASUS Vivobook 14 the part that pays for a knock is the lid. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
Pack the ASUS Vivobook 14, then a power bank, earbuds and a spare drive, and the x series-black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
The X Series-Black finish is what this listing is in 14 inch — it was measured against ASUS Vivobook 14.
