Why we cut this one
HP 14-dq0040nr — that is the machine this one was measured against. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.
What we care about is the gap between the HP 14-dq0040nr and the wall around it. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
Pack the HP 14-dq0040nr, then a power bank, earbuds and a spare drive, and the x series-black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
This one is the X Series-Black cut in 14 inch. It was measured against 14 inch HP Laptop 14-dq0040nr/14t-dq300/14t-dq500/14-fq2097nr, Stream 14, HP 240 G8 Laptop (X8252).
