Why we cut this one

HP Fortis G11 Chromebook — that is the machine this one was measured against. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.

We tried this pattern the way the HP Fortis G11 Chromebook actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten.

There is a flat pocket for an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth. It sits against the outer wall, so adding a charger does not press anything into the lid of the HP Fortis G11 Chromebook.

You are looking at the X Series-Black version in 14 inch. It was measured against 14 inch HP Fortis G11 Chromebook, 14 inch HP Fortis G10 Chromebook, Waterproof and Anti-Shock Bag (X8262).

Before you buy

Does this pattern hold its shape with nothing inside?

It does. That is the point of moulded EVA — the case stands on a shelf empty and does not collapse into a fold, so the HP Fortis G11 Chromebook slides back in without a fight.

Does it fit in a tote as well?

Yes — the outer walls of this pattern stay flat, so with the HP Fortis G11 Chromebook inside it drops into a laptop compartment or a tote without bulging.

Can I order a second one for another machine?

Yes, and people often do — one for the HP Fortis G11 Chromebook and one for whatever lives at home. Check the second machine against its own page; patterns are not shared across makes.
