Why we cut this one
The E7240 pattern is ours. We made this for Precision 5470 Workstation, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the Precision the part that pays for a knock is the lid. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
Alongside the Precision there is room for a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus. We would rather give you one honest pocket than four that each hold half a thing.
This one is the X Series-Black cut in 14 inch. It was measured against 14 inch Precision 5470 Workstation, 12.5 inch Latitude E7240/E7250/E7270 Case (X8030).
