Why we cut this one
We made this for Acer Nitro 5 AN515-46-R0EQ, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-46-R0EQ the part that pays for a knock is the lid. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
The front compartment takes a charger, a short cable and a mouse — enough that a 15.6-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
This one is the X Series-Black cut in 15.6 inch. It was measured against 15.6 inch Acer Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop - AN515-46-R0EQ, Waterproof and Anti-Shock Bag (X8313).
