Why we cut this one

HP Chromebook 15at-nb000 — that is the machine this one was measured against. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.

Ask anyone who has opened a bag to a cracked screen: the knock came through a corner. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten. We drew this pattern around the HP Chromebook 15at-nb000 with that in mind.

Pack the HP Chromebook 15at-nb000, then an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth, and the x series-black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.

X Series-Black in 15.6 inch, and that is the whole difference between this page and its neighbours. It was measured against 15.6 inch HP Chromebook 15at-nb000/15a-nb0097nr/15a-na0047nr/15at-na000 Laptop Notebook Bag (X8281).

Before you buy

Will the HP Chromebook 15at-nb000 still fit with a skin on the lid?

A protective skin or a thin screen cover is fine — there is a little give in this pattern. A second hard shell already clipped to the HP Chromebook 15at-nb000 is not, because the case is cut to the bare machine.

Does it fit in a briefcase as well?

Yes — the outer walls of this pattern stay flat, so with the HP Chromebook 15at-nb000 inside it drops into a laptop compartment or a briefcase without bulging.

What if the HP Chromebook 15at-nb000 turns out to be a different revision?

Fit is the one thing we would rather you check twice. Compare the model number on the base of the HP Chromebook 15at-nb000 with the list on this page, and if it is not there, send the case back through the order page of the store you bought it from.
