Why we cut this one

We cut this one for MSI Raider GE68HX 13VG-068US. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners — it goes into a bag that already has a laptop in it, and it does not change the shape of that bag.

Ask anyone who has opened a bag to a cracked screen: the knock came through a corner. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten. We drew this pattern around the MSI Raider GE68HX 13VG-068US with that in mind.

The front compartment takes a power bank, earbuds and a spare drive — enough that a 16-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.

X Series-Black in 16 inch, and that is the whole difference between this page and its neighbours. It was measured against 16 inch MSI Raider GE68HX 13VG-068US, for MSI Vector GP68HX 13VH-098US Laptop, Waterproof Hard Case (X8311).

Before you buy

Will the MSI Raider GE68HX 13VG-068US still fit with a skin on the lid?

A protective skin or a thin screen cover is fine — there is a little give in this pattern. A second hard shell already clipped to the MSI Raider GE68HX 13VG-068US is not, because the case is cut to the bare machine.

Does it fit in a rucksack as well?

Yes — the outer walls of this pattern stay flat, so with the MSI Raider GE68HX 13VG-068US inside it drops into a laptop compartment or a rucksack without bulging.

What if the MSI Raider GE68HX 13VG-068US turns out to be a different revision?

Fit is the one thing we would rather you check twice. Compare the model number on the base of the MSI Raider GE68HX 13VG-068US with the list on this page, and if it is not there, send the case back through the order page of the store you bought it from.
