We made this for DELL Precision 7780, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners.
What we care about is the gap between the DELL Precision and the wall around it. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
Pack the DELL Precision, then a slim charger, a cable roll and a key pouch, and the x series-black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
X Series-Black in 17.3 inch, and that is the whole difference between this page and its neighbours. It was measured against 17.3 inch DELL Precision 7780 Workstation/Precision 7770 Workstation (X8325).
