Why we cut this one

MSI CreatorPro X17 — that is the machine this one was measured against. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.

Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten. That matters more on the MSI CreatorPro X17 than on most machines, because its lid is the widest flat panel you own and the first thing a dropped bag finds.

Besides the MSI CreatorPro X17 it swallows a phone, its cable and a set of keys, which is usually the difference between one bag and two.

The X Series-Black finish is what this listing is in 17.3 inch — it was measured against MSI CreatorPro X17.

Before you buy

Will the MSI CreatorPro X17 still fit with a skin on the lid?

A protective skin or a thin screen cover is fine — there is a little give in this pattern. A second hard shell already clipped to the MSI CreatorPro X17 is not, because the case is cut to the bare machine.

Will the zip pull scratch the MSI CreatorPro X17?

No. The sliders on this pattern sit in a recessed channel and the pull folds flat, so the metal never reaches the MSI CreatorPro X17.

Does this pattern come with a warranty?

Every case we press carries our manufacturing warranty, and the one cut for the MSI CreatorPro X17 is no exception. Claims go through the order page of the store you bought from — they hold the record of the purchase, so they can settle it fastest.
