Why we cut this one

We build this hard EVA shells around Lenovo Legion 7i Gen 9. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.

We tried this pattern the way the Lenovo Legion 7i actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten.

There is a flat pocket for a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus. It sits against the outer wall, so adding a charger does not press anything into the lid of the Lenovo Legion 7i.

The plain finish is what this listing is in 16 inch — it was measured against Legion Slim 7i/5i/5 Gen 9/8, Legion 5 Pro Gen 7, LOQ Series Laptop(Not Fit Legion Pro 7i Gen10) (X8292).

Before you buy

Will the Lenovo Legion 7i still fit with a skin on the lid?

A protective skin or a thin screen cover is fine — there is a little give in this pattern. A second hard shell already clipped to the Lenovo Legion 7i is not, because the case is cut to the bare machine.

Does it fit in a rucksack as well?

Yes — the outer walls of this pattern stay flat, so with the Lenovo Legion 7i inside it drops into a laptop compartment or a rucksack without bulging.

Can I order a second one for another machine?

Yes, and people often do — one for the Lenovo Legion 7i and one for whatever lives at home. Check the second machine against its own page; patterns are not shared across makes.
