Why we cut this one
We made this for Lenovo ThinkPad, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners.
What we care about is the gap between the Lenovo ThinkPad and the wall around it. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
The front compartment takes a charger, a short cable and a mouse — enough that a 14-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
The plain finish is what this listing is in 14 inch — it was measured against Lenovo ThinkPad.
