Why we cut this one
We build this hard EVA shells around ASUS Chromebook CX9400/Flip CX5400. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.
What we care about is the gap between the ASUS Chromebook CX9400 and the wall around it. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
Pack the ASUS Chromebook CX9400, then a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus, and the x series-black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
The X Series-Black finish is what this listing is in 14 inch — it was measured against ASUS Chromebook CX9400/Flip CX5400.
