Why we cut this one

Lenovo/GIGABYTE/ACER — that is the machine this one was measured against. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.

We tried the M114 the way the Lenovo actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten.

Besides the Lenovo it swallows an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth, which is usually the difference between one bag and two.

This one is the Black cut in 16 inch. It was measured against 16 inch Lenovo LOQ 16IRH8/16APH8, GIGABYTE AORUS 16 BKF/BSF, ACER Predator Helios 300 PH315-55-79KT(X8311).

Before you buy

Does the M114 hold its shape with nothing inside?

It does. That is the point of moulded EVA — the case stands on a shelf empty and does not collapse into a fold, so the Lenovo slides back in without a fight.

Does it fit in a briefcase as well?

Yes — the outer walls of the M114 stay flat, so with the Lenovo inside it drops into a laptop compartment or a briefcase without bulging.

Can I order a second one for another machine?

Yes, and people often do — one for the Lenovo and one for whatever lives at home. Check the second machine against its own page; patterns are not shared across makes.
