Why we cut this one
We build this hard EVA shells around ACER. The M97 pattern is ours. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the ACER the part that pays for a knock is the lid. Super Corner reinforcement sits in the four corners, which is where a dropped bag lands roughly nine times out of ten. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
The front compartment takes a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus — enough that a 15.6-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
