Why we cut this one

We cut this one for DJI Osmo. every cell goes in a slot of its own — it goes into a bag that already has a laptop in it, and it does not change the shape of that bag.

We tried this pattern the way the DJI Osmo actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. Heat is what kills a cell, so the slots are spaced and the housing vents rather than sealing the pack in.

Alongside the DJI Osmo there is room for a notebook, a pen and a card wallet. We would rather give you one honest pocket than four that each hold half a thing.

Will the DJI Osmo still fit with a skin on the lid?

A protective skin or a thin screen cover is fine — there is a little give in this pattern. A second hard shell already clipped to the DJI Osmo is not, because the case is cut to the bare machine.
