Why we cut this one
Lenovo 500e/300w/500w — that is the machine this one was measured against. the hard inner shell hides under a flat outer skin, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.
What we care about is the gap between the Lenovo 500e and the wall around it. The inner shell is the same EVA we use on the hard line — the difference is the outer skin, not the protection. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
Alongside the Lenovo 500e there is room for a slim charger, a cable roll and a key pouch. We would rather give you one honest pocket than four that each hold half a thing.
