Why we cut this one
We cut this one for Samsung Chromebook Plus. the hard inner shell hides under a flat outer skin — it goes into a bag that already has a laptop in it, and it does not change the shape of that bag.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the Samsung Chromebook Plus the part that pays for a knock is the lid. The inner shell is the same EVA we use on the hard line — the difference is the outer skin, not the protection. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
Alongside the Samsung Chromebook Plus there is room for a brick, two cables and a pass. We would rather give you one honest pocket than four that each hold half a thing.
