Why we cut this one
DELL Inspiron 14/Plus 5430 — that is the machine this one was measured against. the hard inner shell hides under a flat outer skin, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.
We tried this pattern the way the DELL Inspiron 14 actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. The inner shell is the same EVA we use on the hard line — the difference is the outer skin, not the protection.
The front compartment takes an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth — enough that a 14-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
Black in 14 inch, and that is the whole difference between this page and its neighbours. It was measured against 14 inch DELL Inspiron 14/14 Plus 5430, Pro 3/5/7, Pro Precision 5,with Accessory Pocket(UE460).
