Why we cut this one
We made this for DELL Latitude 5430 Rugged, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the hard inner shell hides under a flat outer skin.
What we care about is the gap between the DELL Latitude and the wall around it. The inner shell is the same EVA we use on the hard line — the difference is the outer skin, not the protection. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
The front compartment takes an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth — enough that a 14-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
This one is the Black cut in 14 inch. It was measured against DELL Latitude 5430 Rugged.
