Why we cut this one
We cut this one for HP Elite x360 1040 G10/G9. the hard inner shell hides under a flat outer skin — it goes into a bag that already has a laptop in it, and it does not change the shape of that bag.
Ask anyone who has opened a bag to a cracked screen: the knock came through a corner. The inner shell is the same EVA we use on the hard line — the difference is the outer skin, not the protection. We drew this pattern around the HP Elite x360 with that in mind.
The front compartment takes an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth — enough that a 14-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
