Why we cut this one
We made this for HP Googlebook 14, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the hard inner shell hides under a flat outer skin.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the HP Googlebook 14 the part that pays for a knock is the lid. The inner shell is the same EVA we use on the hard line — the difference is the outer skin, not the protection. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
There is a flat pocket for a charger, a short cable and a mouse. It sits against the outer wall, so adding a charger does not press anything into the lid of the HP Googlebook 14.
This one is the Black cut in 14 inch. It was measured against 14inch HP OmniBook 5 14" NGAI 14-hh0000/14T-HH000/14z-hm000,OmniBook Ultra Flip 14/14t-fh000,ZBook Ultra G1a NGAI(UE459).
