Why we cut this one
We cut this one for Lenovo IdeaPad 3i G6/1i G7. the hard inner shell hides under a flat outer skin — it goes into a bag that already has a laptop in it, and it does not change the shape of that bag.
The inner shell is the same EVA we use on the hard line — the difference is the outer skin, not the protection. That matters more on the Lenovo IdeaPad 3i G6 than on most machines, because its lid is the widest flat panel you own and the first thing a dropped bag finds.
The front compartment takes a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus — enough that a 14-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
