Why we cut this one
We made this for Lenovo Slim 7i Aura, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the hard inner shell hides under a flat outer skin.
The point of cutting this pattern tight to the Lenovo Slim 7i Aura is simple: The inner shell is the same EVA we use on the hard line — the difference is the outer skin, not the protection. Nothing moves, so nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid.
The front compartment takes a power bank, earbuds and a spare drive — enough that a 14-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
