Why we cut this one
We cut this one for Lenovo 3i Chromebook. the hard inner shell hides under a flat outer skin — the E15 pattern means it goes into a bag that already has a laptop in it, and it does not change the shape of that bag.
What we care about is the gap between the Lenovo 3i Chromebook and the wall around it. The inner shell is the same EVA we use on the hard line — the difference is the outer skin, not the protection. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
The front compartment takes a slim charger, a cable roll and a key pouch — enough that a 15.6-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
