Why we cut this one

We made this for Samsung Galaxy Book 5, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the hard inner shell hides under a flat outer skin.

What we care about is the gap between the Samsung Galaxy Book 5 and the wall around it. The inner shell is the same EVA we use on the hard line — the difference is the outer skin, not the protection. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.

Pack the Samsung Galaxy Book 5, then a slim charger, a cable roll and a key pouch, and the black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
