Why we cut this one
ASUS Vivobook 16 Flip — that is the machine this one was measured against. the hard inner shell hides under a flat outer skin, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the ASUS Vivobook 16 Flip the part that pays for a knock is the lid. The inner shell is the same EVA we use on the hard line — the difference is the outer skin, not the protection. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
There is a flat pocket for a phone, its cable and a set of keys. It sits against the outer wall, so adding a charger does not press anything into the lid of the ASUS Vivobook 16 Flip.
