Why we cut this one
We build this laptop sleeves around ASUS Chromebook Flip CX1400. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.
The point of cutting this pattern tight to the ASUS Chromebook Flip CX1400 is simple: The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. Nothing moves, so nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid.
The front compartment takes an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth — enough that a 14-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
