Why we cut this one
We made this for HP EliteBook 640/645 G10/G9, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the HP EliteBook 640 the part that pays for a knock is the lid. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
There is a flat pocket for a charger, a short cable and a mouse. It sits against the outer wall, so adding a charger does not press anything into the lid of the HP EliteBook 640.
You are looking at the Elite-Black version in 14 inch. It was measured against HP EliteBook 640/645 G10/G9.
