Why we cut this one
HP OmniBook Ultra 14 — that is the machine this one was measured against. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.
What we care about is the gap between the HP OmniBook Ultra 14 and the wall around it. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. A machine that slides half an inch inside its own case is a machine that arrives with a dented lid.
Besides the HP OmniBook Ultra 14 it swallows a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus, which is usually the difference between one bag and two.
The plain finish is what this listing is in 14 inch — it was measured against 14 inch HP OmniBook X AI/Next Gen AI,Case with Accessory Pocket(E425).
