Why we cut this one
The E429 pattern is ours. We made this for Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 5, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket.
We tried the E429 the way the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year.
The front compartment takes a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus — enough that a 14-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
