Why we cut this one
The M6500 pattern is ours. We made this for ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 UM535, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket.
The point of cutting the M6500 tight to the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 UM535 is simple: The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. Nothing moves, so nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid.
The front compartment takes a power bank, earbuds and a spare drive — enough that a 15.6-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
