Why we cut this one
We made this for Lenovo ThinkPad T15p/P15v Gen 3, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the Lenovo ThinkPad T15p the part that pays for a knock is the lid. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
The front compartment takes an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth — enough that a 15-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
