Why we cut this one
We cut this one for HP OMEN Gaming Laptop 16/16t/16z. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket — it goes into a bag that already has a laptop in it, and it does not change the shape of that bag.
A case is worth its room in the bag for what it stops, and on the HP OMEN Gaming Laptop 16 the part that pays for a knock is the lid. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. The shell takes the hit instead, so we would rather it be stiff and slightly dull than soft and pretty.
The front compartment takes an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth — enough that a 16.1-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
