Why we cut this one

We build this laptop sleeves around DELL G16 7630. The E611 pattern is ours. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.

We tried the E611 the way the DELL G16 actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year.

The front compartment takes an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth — enough that a 16-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.

Before you buy

Will the DELL G16 still fit with a skin on the lid?

A protective skin or a thin screen cover is fine — there is a little give in the E611. A second hard shell already clipped to the DELL G16 is not, because the case is cut to the bare machine.

How do I clean the elite-black finish?

A damp cloth and nothing else, with the DELL G16 taken out first. Solvents lift the coating off the outer skin of the E611 and leave a dull patch that never evens out.

Does the E611 come with a warranty?
