Why we cut this one
The E601 pattern is ours. We made this for DELL Precision 7670/7680 Workstation, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket.
The point of cutting the E601 tight to the DELL Precision is simple: The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. Nothing moves, so nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid.
The front compartment takes a notebook, a pen and a card wallet — enough that a 16-inch case stops being a laptop case and starts being the whole kit.
This one is the Elite-Black cut in 16 inch. It was measured against DELL Protective Case with Accessory Pocket,Patented Shockproof Design (E601).
