Why we cut this one
We made this for DELL Precision 5770 Workstation, and for the way that machine actually travels — desk, bag, train table, desk again. the cut follows one machine, not a size bracket.
The lining is brushed rather than woven rough, so the lid does not pick up a haze of fine scratches over a year. That matters more on the DELL Precision than on most machines, because its lid is the widest flat panel you own and the first thing a dropped bag finds.
Pack the DELL Precision, then a phone, its cable and a set of keys, and the elite-black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
This one is the Elite-Black cut in 17 inch. It was measured against DELL Precision 5770 Workstation.
