Why we cut this one
We build this hard cases with a built-in stand around Apple/DELL/Lenovo. The A385S pattern is ours. the lid folds back into a wedge, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.
The point of cutting the A385S tight to the Apple is simple: The hinge is the weak point in most hard cases, so ours is reinforced along the full length and the shell stays square when the lid is open. Nothing moves, so nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid.
Alongside the Apple there is room for a power bank, earbuds and a spare drive. We would rather give you one honest pocket than four that each hold half a thing.
