Why we cut this one
Lenovo IdeaPad — that is the machine this one was measured against. the handle and the strap are already on it, and the outside stays flat enough to slide into a locker or an overhead bin.
The point of cutting this pattern tight to the Lenovo IdeaPad is simple: The strap anchors are riveted through a doubled panel, because that is the seam that tears when a bag is full. Nothing moves, so nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid.
There is a flat pocket for a travel adapter, a USB-C hub and a stylus. It sits against the outer wall, so adding a charger does not press anything into the lid of the Lenovo IdeaPad.
