Why we cut this one
This is our shoulder bags and briefcases made for ASUS, DELL, HP and Alienware. the handle and the strap are already on it, so the fit is a fit and not an approximation.
The point of cutting this pattern tight to the ASUS, DELL, HP and Alienware is simple: The strap anchors are riveted through a doubled panel, because that is the seam that tears when a bag is full. Nothing moves, so nothing wears a mark into the corner of the lid.
Pack the ASUS, DELL, HP and Alienware, then an adapter, a dongle and a folded cloth, and the black shell still closes flat — the pocket was sized after the machine, not before it.
