We build this shoulder bags and briefcases around HP OmniBook,Elite. the handle and the strap are already on it, which is the whole reason we cut a separate pattern instead of selling one size for everything.

We tried this pattern the way the HP OmniBook actually travels — bag on the floor of a train, bag in the boot, bag dropped on a tiled hallway. The strap anchors are riveted through a doubled panel, because that is the seam that tears when a bag is full.

There is a flat pocket for a slim charger, a cable roll and a key pouch. It sits against the outer wall, so adding a charger does not press anything into the lid of the HP OmniBook.
